I don't know what it is about this city, but some of the strangest things happen here.

Take it from me, I'm a city kid. Lived in the suburbs of big cities almost my entire life, and some of the incidents that happen in The 806 are baffling to me.

For example, something happened on Saturday over at BSA that was an absolute head-scratcher to me.

You go to the hospital for a myriad of things. You go to deliver a baby, have surgery done, or something as big as a life-saving operation. It's one of the few places in the country where you actually feel at your safest. People are constantly watching and monitoring you to make sure you're doing ok.

Then you get some wahoo that decides to drive his vehicle right into the entrance of BSA hospital and pop off a shot with his gun before being apprehended.

Seriously, it happened. I can't make this one up in my wildest dreams. His name is William Cash Love, a 46-year-old male. He took his car, rammed it through the glass doors then decided to discharge his gun.

When police impounded his car, they found a large amount of cash and narcotics on him. Well, I guess that could explain a lot now, couldn't it? Once that discovery was made, Love was charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance.

There's an old adage, "don't get high on your own supply". Based on what I read, that's exactly what Mr. Love did.
