Summer has flown by and if it seems like you haven't done much don't worry there is still plenty to do.  Amarillo Parks and Recreation department has a bunch of fun activities going on before school starts, like Pirate Night at Thompson Park pool.

For some reason this summer just flew by.  School will be starting very soon so you best make the most of the time you have left.  And nothing is better than pirate themed fun!

This Wednesday, August 1st, Amarillo parks and recreation will be hosting pirate night.  It happens at Thompson Park pool from 7-9pm.  The event will cost only $1.75 per person.  A great deal.

Not only will you get to swim, but there will be all kinds of activities.  Mermaid makeovers will be happening and you will get to dive for treasure.  There will be plenty of games and fun for the whole family.

If you don't want to walk the plank, you'll go to Pirate Night!
