Amarillo Police are trying to locate the white 4 door sedan that caused an accident which led to a pedestrian being hit by a car.  46 year old Joseph Edward Fisher of Amarillo was hit by a Hyundai, after the Hyundai was rear-ended by the white 4 door sedan in question.  The white 4 door sedan left the seen of the accident, leaving APD trying to solve a hit and runAmarillo Crime Stoppers asks for any help in locating the vehicle, which is only described as a white 4 door with front end damage.

"APD Traffic Investigations has released the name of the victim in this case.  He is Joseph Edward Fisher, WM age 46.  As of this morning, his injuries are still considered life-threatening.  The APD is still seeking assistance in locating the white four-door with damage on the front that left the scene of this collision.   If you have information on this hit and run, please call the Amarillo Police Department or Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374-4400. 

On February 22, 2014 at approximately 11:47am officers were dispatched to motor vehicle striking a pedestrian hit and run at West Amarillo Blvd and N Adams.  Upon their arrival they discovered a 2013 Hyundai 4 door driven by Nicolas Ray Carr, BM, 25 had had been west bound on W Amarillo Blvd  slowing to turn north bound onto N Adams St.  A pedestrian was walking east bound crossing N Adams.  The Hyundai was rear ended by a white 4door.  The Hyundai then spun into the pedestrian.  The white 4 door fled the scene. The pedestrian, a WM, 45 was taken to local area hospital with life threatening injuries.  His name is being with held until the next of kin can be located.  Carr was uninjured.  The incident is being investigated by the Traffic Investigation Squad of the Amarillo Police Dept.  If anyone has any information concerning the white 4 door that fled the scene they are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 374-4400 or the Amarillo Police Dept at 378-3083."
