Take a look while you are driving and you will see it everywhere. I walk around town a lot with a friend and we notice two things. First people are in such a huge hurry. Oh, and they can't seem to put their phones down.

It doesn't seem to matter if it's the law or not. That risk of a $200 fine seems to be worth it for some people. Most people don't even wait until they are sitting still at a stop light. That is still against the law but at least seems a little safer.

No, they are driving down I40 with phones in hand. That is highly dangerous. I mean how easy is it to plow into someone? Pretty easy as we saw recently.

Even if you are driving a huge red food truck like Yolo's. They got smashed into recently. The damage was pretty bad to their food trailer but even they knew it could have been worse.

They took to Facebook to remind people to stay off their phones:

Please for the sake of everything that's important to you...STAY OFF YOUR PHONE WHILE DRIVING A lady ran a stop sign on her phone in broad daylight and hit our food trailer as we were driving through Amarillo headed to an event. We are not injured but our trailer has a new face-lift. We are not gonna let this stop us from serving you all your Yolos favorites at our scheduled events. We can still fully operate just please excuse our ugly trailer while we go through the repair process. I really thought a BIG red trailer that is pulled by a BIG red truck would be an eye-catcher....please please stay off your phone while driving and be aware of your surroundings.

So put that phone down. Pay attention when you are driving. I mean you can avoid an accident like this pretty easily.
