Amarillo’s Annual Electric Light Parade Happens This Friday!

Now that Thanksgiving and Black Friday have come and gone it is time for us to look forward to Christmas.  In Amarillo that is marked with the annual Parade of Lights.

This year the Center City Electric Light Parade will take place on Friday, November 30th beginning at  6:00 pm.  The weather is perfect for you to bundle your family up, grab some hot coco and head downtown to watch the many floats decorated with beautiful Christmas lights.

This year the theme for the parade is 'The Nutcracker.'  The parade will begin on 11th and Polk and head to Fourth and Buchanan to the Globe-News Center Parking lot.

After the parade, you can join Santa Claus and watch as Amarillo lights the city Christmas Tree.

This is a fun holiday event that sets the mood for Christmas.  And it gives you and your family something to do and enjoy together.
