Andrew Garfield has been making the rounds promoting his new film, 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2,' being both absolutely hilarious and absolutely adorable on everything from 'Ellen' (where he played 'Never Have I Ever' with Emma Stone) and 'SNL,' where he threw a little shade at Beyonce. But in his newest venture, Garfield is tackling something a little more serious.

Appearing in the trailer for Arcade Fire's upcoming 'We Exist' music video, Garfield goes in drag, shaving his hair into a buzzcut and donning a white dress and a long, blonde wig as he stumbles through the crowds at Coachella. The song, which appears on the band's album 'Reflektor,' tells the story of a young man coming out to his father. The video (or at least the teaser trailer) alternates between a distraught, emotional Garfield cutting his hair in the mirror and wandering the grounds in the wig and the dress.
