It was the news we’d all be hoping and wishing and waiting for: last night, Marvel officially announced that they’ve reached an agreement with Sony for a Spider-Man crossover, which could also allow for MCU characters to crossover into Spidey’s own films. On top of that, Marvel is teaming up with Sony for a new ‘Spider-Man’ movie, to hit theaters in 2017. But who will play the web-slinger? As predicted, it won’t be Andrew Garfield. We’ve got a little more info on Marvel and Sony’s plans, which shed even more optimistic light on this very positive (and super exciting!) news.
Andrew Garfield has been making the rounds promoting his new film, 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2,' being both absolutely hilarious and absolutely adorable on everything from 'Ellen' (where he played 'Never Have I Ever' with Emma Stone) and 'SNL,' where he threw a little shade at Beyonce. But in his newest venture, Garfield is tackling something a little more serious.
Andrew Garfield made his 'Saturday Night Live' last night on May 3 to promote this weekend's release of 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2.' Among the best moments included getting help from real-life girlfriend Emma Stone, getting kisses from Chris Martin of Coldplay and daring to question the awesomeness of Beyonce in a faux movie trailer.
Like so many 'SNL' scenes, the "Celebrity Family Feud" sketches are essentially an excuse to let a bunch of different cast members try out a variety of celebrity impersonations. But hey, we're not complaining, especially when they give guest host Andrew Garfield a chance to play a spot-on version of his 'The Social Network' co-star (and frequent 'SNL' host) Justin Timberlake.
The British Invasion is coming to 'SNL' this weekend as 'Spider-Man' star aka Andrew Garfield, who was actually born in the U.S. but raised in England, is hosting the show with Coldplay once again serving as the musical guest (May 3).
Emma Stone’s romantic admission of love for her 'Spider-Man' co-star and real-life boyfriend Andrew Garfield has us clutching our hands over our hearts.
With Marvel doing an excellent job building buzz today for their upcoming 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier,' it seems 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' wants to step in and remind us that it is also coming shortly as they've just released the first clip from the film.
