Arrest Warrant Issued For Russell Brand’s I-phone Incident
Russell Brand has been in the news lately for losing his temper and throwing a man's phone through a window. Not reports are saying an arrest warrant has been issued for the comedian.
Russell Brand is down in New Orleans right now working on a film. Of course, wherever celebrities gather, paparazzi are close by. A photographer, Timothy Jackson, stated that he and a group of photographers were in a car and decided to start taking pictures of Brand.
The funny man seemed to lose his temper and grabbed the I-Phone from Jackson's hand and threw it through the window of a local law firm. He did, however, return the phone after the cops arrived. But it seems like it might be a little too late.
Police in New Orleans are reporting that a misdemeanor warrant has been issued for the 36-year old actor.
Ouch! All over an I-phone. Brand did make a comment on twitter defending his actions. Here is what he tweeted:
“Since Steve Jobs died I cannot bear to see anyone use an iphone irreverently, what I did was a tribute to his memory."
I really don't see Brand in serious trouble. I mean he already agreed to replace the window. We'll have to see what happens.
