Britney Spears Is Engaged To Jason Trawick, Maybe

So earlier today, TMZ was all like "Britney Spears is getting engaged tonight in Las Vegas and she don't know it."  They were told by multiple sources that Jason Trawick was going to pop the question to Britney Spears tonight while the 2 were in Vegas partying it up.  Well now, TMZ is all like "Britney Spears is engaged!"  Am I alone in just wanting to say "hey TMZ, why don't you STFU?!"  I hate the show so much, these guys think they are so clever and witty, but they are just douche bags deluxe.

Anyways, even though TMZ reported the engagement question was supposed to go down tonight, it looks like they might have been off by a day.  Because Britney Spears just posted this on her Facebook page.

"OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I've been waiting for. Can't wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!! Xxo."

Then there's over 14oo comments of nonsense, non of which is Britney Spears confirming or denying the engagement.

But TMZ is so connected they know the entire nights lay out! (TMZ)

Sources close to the couple tell us ... Jason organized a MASSIVE celebratory dinner tonight at the Chocolate Lounge at the Sugar Factory in the Paris Hotel ... because Brit Brit LOVES chocolate.

We're told there will be a chocolate fondue and all the men will get chocolate truffle cigars.

After dinner ... the gang is set to go to Chateau nightclub and party the night away.

We're told everyone involved in the fiesta has received specific marching orders -- anything Britney wants, Britney gets.

Well somebody please ask Britney to want TMZ to go away.  See if she gets that, then I'll be a winner to.

Either way, congratulations to the happy couple!  Here's to a year of insanity, binge eating and public humiliation before another celebrity divorce.
