Check out the 2nd annual Women in Real life Conference this Thursday at the Ashmore Inn & Suites from 9am-6:30pm. They will be talking about how to build your business with social media. Learning to Appreciate Spiders and Scorpions
Spiders and scorpions sometimes get a bad reputation as being scary and deadly. But they are very important to the world and ecosystems. Dr. David Sissom is hosting a lecture at Wildcat Bluff Wednesday, October 12th from 7-10pm. He wants to help the community understand the benefits of having these creatures in our world. This is also a potluck event, so please bring something good to eat and drink! Only $3 for members, $2 for kids and seniors 65+ members. It is $4 for non-members and $3 for non-member kids and seniors 65+.

 

Hispanic Heritage Luncheon

Los Barrios de Amarillo is hosting the Hispanic Heritage Luncheon tomorrow at 11:45am - 1pm. Not only is this event going to be a delicious one with food like tacos, enchiladas, brisket but its also going to be a informative one that will teach you about the Hispanic community. Hispanic leaders are going to inform you on how to make the communities safer and also give away seven awards to individuals and businesses. Tickets are $20 for individuals or $150 for a table of 8. The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn

Amarillo Little Theater Academy's first play of the 2016-2017 season, will be The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. The production starts October 14th at 7:30pm, Friday and Saturday.
