Community Gathers To Mourn The Loss Of Woman Killed In Hit And Run Accident

Early Sunday morning, a fatal hit and run occurred on 45th and Georgia. Aisling Christine Martinezo was struck on her 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle by a drunk driver.

She was taken to the hospital where she later died due to her injuries. On Monday, which was Labor Day, the biker community gathered together on 45th and Georgia to raise money for the family and awareness for drunk driving and motorcycle safety. Hundreds of people gathered on the corner and blocked traffic where the accident happened to mourn the loss of Aisling Christine Martinezo. Her husband and 3 kids were there as people prayed and hung up signs on a pole where the fatal accident happened.

The biker community wants to remind people to be careful on the roads, do not drink and drive, and be cautious of motorcyclists. Our prayers are with the family and friends of Aisling Christine Martinezo. Another reminder please do NOT drink and drive!
