Police are suppose to be respectable and trust worthy.  But what happens when they 'rap' about criminal activities?  Well, they get suspended.  Dallas Police Lieutenant, Regina Smith has been suspended due to violent rap lyrics.

The name may sound familiar.  That's because Lt. Regina Smith made headlines in 2009 when her husband, Senior Cpl. Norm Smith, was killed while trying to serve a warrant.  The Dallas community mourned with her.

Well it seems that Mrs. Smith has found a side job-gangsta rapper.  She goes by the name 'Lucille Baller' and posts on her website often.  She posts pictures of herself in short shorts and music that she recorded.

One song in particular says: “Don’t push Ms. Lucy because you won’t like the consequences,” Dallas Police Lt. Regina Smith raps on the recording. “Mess with me or I will shoot a [expletive] cuz Lucille Baller, she been to hell and back.”

Listen to the song.

Here's a news story about her.

What do you think?  Is this appropriate for a police officer or should she be fired?
