Crazy Dust Storm Blows Through Amarillo, But That’s Just The Beginning As Light Snow Showers Are Expected Tonight!

At approximately 4:25pm in Amarillo, TX, houses began to shake and loud sounds began to rumble as a massive dust storm blew through the area.  It looks like it's not easing up at the moment.  The visibility while driving is limited and debris is flying everywhere, making for not quite ideal driving conditions.  But they're saying this is just the beginning as the wind gusts stay strong keeping it nice and dusty all day, and leading to snow showers tonight!

Yeah, it's officially Spring yet we're going to see more snow, great!

The snow is expected to be a light and short, thankfully!

It should start hitting us around 9:30pm and taper off around 1am or so.  A very short lived snow storm indeed.

For now, just be careful driving around in the crazy wind!  Look out for debris blowing around and keep a good safe distance between you and the cars around you just in case somebody decides to do something crazy!  The wind and dust is making for some very crazy driving conditions!
