David Guetta‘s ‘Nothing but the Beat’ is more than a star-studded, Grammy-nominated album. Now, it’s also a documentary that tells the DJ’s life story and offers testimonials from his peers. The movie is available as a free iTunes download this week.

According to a press release, the documentary includes interviews with Avicii, Afrojack, Snoop Dogg, Usher, Kelly Rowland and more. Guetta explains the story behind the film:

What’s happened to dance music recently is unbelievable. I’ve been a DJ for 20 years and ‘Nothing But The Beat’ tells a part of the story through my eyes. But not just mine; my peers, those DJs who inspired me and my collaborators too. It shows how far we have all come and I hope will inspire all those new DJs, producers, and everyone to follow their passion. I wanted to give something back to those who have supported me and show people new to the scene and sound some of our history.”

Guetta is also releasing ‘Nothing but The Beat – The Electronic Album,’ which includes some of the instrumental tracks on the bonus edition of the album.

‘Nothing but the Beat’ debuted at No. 5 after its release last August. It has produced the hits ‘Without You’ with Usher, ‘Where Them Girls At,’ ‘Turn Me On’ with Nicki Minaj, and (most recently) ’Titanium’ which features vocals from Sia.
