Kid Cudi let the words fly Wednesday (Sept. 14), heading to Twitter to denounce "the fuckery" and call out the major hip-hop acts who aren't showing him support. "My tweets apply to who they apply. Ye, Drake, whoever. These niggas dont give a fuck about me. And they aint fuckin with me," he wrote. Cudi was of course a member of Kanye's G.O.O.D. Music family at one point, the two collaborating often, and Kanye responded Wednesday night, saying onstage in Tampa, "I birthed you."

Similarly, Drake used his Summer Sixteen platform to respond to Cudi, saying in the above video, "Boy you getting way too high you need to cut it." The line references O.T. Genasis' single "Cut It," which, if pronounced a certain way can sound like Cudi, making it the perfect flip for Drake. According to fan account Word on Road, Drake as well said, "I heard boys were talking down today. Shoutout to my brother Kanye West. We both got sold out shows."

Cudi and Drake have less of a history together, though Cudder's tweets may have applied most to Drizzy, particularly "Everyone thinks they’re soooo great. Talkin top 5 and be having 30 people write songs for them." While both Kanye and Drake are known to outsource certain elements of their music, it's Drake who declares himself top 5 on "Grammys," and just a few weeks back a billboard reading "Top 5" three times appeared in Los Angeles.
