I try to do my best to fix things around the house.  My hubby is always busy and I don't want to be a bother, so I set out to do things myself!  Over the years, I have found that duct tape fixes anything!

The other day, I was busy in the kitchen when my son came running in.  He was looking for dad because something was broken.  Well, I said lets take a look and see if I can help.  I went to his bedroom and noticed that he had a bunch of broken pieces to something.

I asked him what all the pieces went to.  His reply, I took my wrestling ring cage apart and I cant find all the pieces.  We looked and found most of them but some of the corners were loose.  So I ran to my tool box and grab my trusty roll of duct tape.  I taped the corners to secure them and it worked perfectly.  Not only was it a strong hold, but now he couldn't take it apart so easily.

I run to duct tape for everything.  I've used it to hold pipes together until the plumber can come out; I've used it to hold a cracked window together until it can be replaced; and I've used it fix the spine of my son's favorite book.  Sometimes it is just a temporary fix, but it will buy me some time.  But I noticed that I am not the only person that does this.

Yesterday, I was driving home from work when I saw a car that had their hood duct taped down.  I've been into a convenience store that had the toilet seat duct taped (needless to say I didn't use it, lol.)

At work we use duct tape all the time.  When we need to hold things in place or together.  And at our Party in the Park, we had issues filling our water balloons, a little duct tape solved that problem.

It is the universal problem solver!  What is the craziest thing that you've ever duct taped?
