Another one in the books. Amarillo and Canyon truly amaze me at times, and this year was no different. Help 4 The Holidays is a wrap for 2025, and we experienced every range of emotion that you can think of in year four of the event.

It had a lot of ups and downs for sure, and while we never wanted to give up, I can tell you there were moments where we just weren't sure if we'd be able to continue it after this year. Well, we can gladly say that we will be back for year five.

Strong Finish Pushes It Home

It was definitely a strange year. Monday, we started off feeling pretty good because it really was the best Monday of the event we'd ever had. We thought for sure we were going to need more boxes and stay busy through the week. Then Tuesday reset our expectations as it was super slow. On Wednesday, there was a threat of weather coming in later in the afternoon. Thursday was the realization of that weather. A bit of snow and frigid cold temps kept people inside.

As Friday approached, we were hoping to just fill one box for each agency and retool for next year. A somewhat normal Friday came in, faith restored. Saturday, we expected it to just blow up...and we didn't get our first donation of the day until nearly five hours into the day. It was after that, though, that Help 4 The Holidays absolutely exploded. The rest of Saturday and all of Sunday (best Sunday on record) were just busy with you coming out in droves.

A Record-Setting Event

When it was all said and done, we found ourselves standing in a room that was fuller than ever before, and our hearts were so full. Over 20 non-profit agencies will come through Monday and Tuesday to pick up their items, and we can only hope they feel the same as we did as they pick up their items. Without you, we can't get it done, and how you showed up will forever live in our hearts and minds. We can't wait to see what next year brings.

As we put the final touches on the year, I wanted to give a quick thank you to everyone who helped participate in the event. Silverland, Vexus, Dunkin' Donuts, Domino's, Calico County, Bubba's 33, Market Street, McDonald's, Buns Over Texas, OVR-EZE, and 575 Pizzeria. You powered the event and kept us fueled to get through those 12-hour days, and we can't thank you enough for your support. Thank you to the entire staff here at Townsquare Media for supporting us throughout the event, and of course, thank YOU. Without you, this event wouldn't be possible.
