2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is scheduled to make her formal concession speech this morning (Nov. 9), addressing the public sometime after 10:30 AM EST from the Jacob Javits Center in New York City.

Donald Trump shockingly won the presidential election yesterday (Nov. 8), resulting in a largely startled reaction across the world.

According to CBS, Hillary called president elect Donald Trump "at around 2:30 AM, but gave no speech and put out no public statement Tuesday night after her stunning defeat."

"This team has so much to be proud of. Whatever happens tonight, thank you for everything," Hillary tweeted last night before the results came in.

"Such a beautiful and important evening! The forgotten man and woman will never be forgotten again. We will all come together as never before," Donald Trump tweeted as the race came to a close.
