Texmexas!

Texas has its own cuisine - Tex Mex. We've got quesadillas, tacos, burritos, cheese enchiladas, fajitas, and all of it is smothered in queso. It's the farthest thing from Mexican food, but 100% Texas.

Food Diggity, a food culture site dedicated to funny food art and unique blogs, recently came out with a line of food pun art. They arranged different foods to represent states in the U.S.

There's the adorable "Mississippeas," the tempting "S'moregon," and the realistic "Kalefornia."

Naturally, Texas was named "Texmexas" to give homage to Texans' favorite cuisine. Our state is represented by a Texas-shaped quesadilla topped with guacamole and sour cream.
