It’s ‘Amarillo Miracle Week’ With Children’s Miracle Network
What do you know about Children's Miracle Network? CMN of Amarillo is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and improving the quality of children’s healthcare. Whenever you are asked if you can donate to Children's Miracle Network of Amarillo, all the money raised stays in our local community to help sick or inured kids. The CMN Amarillo office services the top twenty-six counties of the Texas Panhandle, four counties in New Mexico, three in Oklahoma and one in Kansas. In just 2018, over $830,000 was distributed to help local kids through medical bills, life saving equipment, recruitment of more sub-specialty pediatric doctors, child life support at BSA and NWTHS, and more!
Each year, this radio station teams up with CMN for Miracle Week. It is a full week of events and activities to help raise funds to support kids in our community. Along with our annual Mediathon drive, this week also brings businesses across the high plains together to support CMN through raising much needed funds and awareness for CMN by wearing jeans, purchasing CMN t-shirts, donating a portion of sales, and more!
Tuesday, September 29th, is the annual Mediathon with all our Townsquare Media Radio Stations (101.9 The Bull, 96.9 KISS FM, Mix 94.1, Thunder 98.7, and NewsTalk 940 AM) as well as KAMR Local 4.
