Amarillo Sisters Launch Bun Stop Bakery from Their Front Yard

When it comes to running a business in Amarillo, finding your passion is the first step.If you can do that, the rest comes a bit easier. One thing about Amarillo is our love for supporting small businesses. We love to see our neighbors find their passion and succeed.

Amarillo residents Sidney and Micah Perkins found their passion, baking. Sidney is a senior at WT, and Micah just graduated from high school and wanted to pursue something that they both loved. Micah's time working at Crumbl Cookie cemented the fact that she loved to be in the kitchen baking sweet treats.

The Birth of Bun Stop Bakery

They officially just opened recently and handle all of the baking in their home kitchen. Their pickup location is conveniently located in their front yard. It has the info to send them money electronically or a lock box for money.

It's their attempt to test the waters for their treats, and if opening day was any indication, they have been a success. For now, they are figuring out the logistics of the best days to have food available, but they are available and have already been successful with catering parties such as graduations.

We had a request for cinnamon rolls. We will have some available in the house…you will just have to knock. Legally, we can’t put anything with cream cheese frosting outside.
