If you get on social media and don't find anything about Hocus Pocus you are just not trying. After almost thirty years everyone is going crazy over the second part. It took that long to revisit the favorite.

From the fact that Hocus Pocus 2 came to Disney Plus recently. Or the fact that Amarillo native, Taylor Henderson, plays the young Winifred. There is a lot for Amarillo to be excited about.

Maybe you haven't seen the original in a long time. Maybe the kids have never seen it. We have a chance for you to get the family out to the park and right that wrong. Heck, even if you own the movie there is something about getting outside to watch a movie.

It's a fun movie to see this time of year. Just to watch or to get ready to stream the second part. Amarillo Parks and Recreation wants to help make those memories for you.

Hocus Pocus in the Park

It's not just the movie that will be happening at Memorial Park this Saturday, October 8th. Though that would be great too. No way. There will be a lot of fun activities leading up to showtime.

There will even be food trucks so you don't have to worry about cooking dinner before heading out to the park. Plus there will be tons of candy stations to get you some trick-or-treat practice in before the big day.

All the fun starts at 5 pm. So make sure this fun event is on your calendar and get out and enjoy all sorts of Halloween activities and a great movie to kick off the spooky season.
