When my daughter moved back to the Dallas area  last summer it was hard on me, of course. I had to drive her and my granddaughter away from being near me in Amarillo. The apartment they found was in Farmer's Branch.

The first thing we heard from their apartment manager was this new glow-in-the-dark park that was being built in the area. They told her when they moved in that it was opening early in 2024. So January came and everyone got excited.

Joya was officially opened. I had my daughter look and it was about three minutes from her apartment. So I told her the next time I came to visit we had to make a stop. We needed to see if it was something my granddaughter could have fun at or if she was still too little.

She is a toddler so she might have to grow into it. No worries it was close so we decided to check it out. When we went we were pleasantly surprised that there is a section just for the toddlers.

It's definitely something the kids loved. The big sphere, which is the main attraction, kept changing colors. That was pretty cool to see. There is so much for the kids to do. Yes, it's a glow-in-the-dark park but it would be a lot of fun during the day too.

Even though it was sprinkling when we went there were still a lot of people enjoying this new park. It is located at 13201 Tom Field Rd in Farmer's Branch, TX.

My granddaughter loved the slides the most but kept running around the whole park. She kept finding things to do. It's only been open a few weeks so if you are in the Dallas area this is one fun activity that is free for the family.

It's always great to find something new and a plus when it's free. We are all looking for that fun activity for the children. This is my daughter's new go-to park in her area. Check it out.
