The New Village on Westgate: Why Amarillo Parents are Buzzing About This Brand New Play Space
One of the things that I love about Amarillo is how it is growing. There are new things being added all the time. When a new space opens for children, I really take notice. Back in January, I noticed we were getting a new place for them to play.
Safety and Sharing: Why Specialized Play Spaces Matter
Having fun places that are safe for the littlest of imaginations is so important. A place that is all theirs with fun things to do. It helps that all of the other kids playing will be all around the same age and size. That is a big win.
Recently, Sweet Times Villages opened in Westgate Parkway. They are right down from COW (Cream Over Waffles) and Purposeful Play, which are other great places for the little ones.

They officially opened their doors on March 12, but they are already becoming a kid favorite and a parent-approved place for play. There are playhouses and areas for kids to just be kids, which is exactly what it is all about.
They can run around and, most importantly, use their imagination. They learn how to share and get along with others. This is also a great place for mom or dad to get down and play with them as well.
Knowing the Costs: Pricing and Age-Dependent Rates
The pricing model is family-friendly: during free play, admission is only charged for the children. They are the ones who are playing. The cost is $10.95 for ages 2 - 9. There are other prices, all age-dependent.
The play area is open; the cafe part is still in the works. So there is plenty to do, but there will be more coming. This is your new go-to for playtime. There are memberships, party options, and field trip opportunities.
Located on Westgate: Your New Neighborhood Play Zone
