Katy Perry is on fire or should we say she is a firework.  Anyway you word it, she is unstoppable.  Her album "Teenage Dream" is on its way to breaking major records.

Her single "Last Friday Night" is currently sitting at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100, which is a 27 spot jump from last week.  If this climb continues, Perry will be the first female artist ever to have five #1 songs off an album.  And not to mention, she will also be the first artist of any sex to accomplish this since Michael Jackson's "Bad" album in 1988.

Perry has already broke the record for most consecutive weeks with a single in the top 10.  And she still has two in the top 10.  I bet her and Russel Brand are sitting somewhere together with their fingers crossed.

Her number one hits from this album are "California Gurls," "Teenage Dream," "Firework," and "E.T."  I have no doubt at all that she will reach number one with "Last Friday Night."

She also has a perfume line out called Purr.  So I would say she is quite a success.  Good Luck breaking those records!
