'Landman' starring Billy Bob Thornton has taken the world by storm and is must see TV. The intensity of the show alone makes it worth watching, but getting an inside look at how the oil world works...well, loosely works, is something that has grabbed the attention of millions.
Sure, there's plenty of dramatization to the show, but it does give us an inside look at just how lucrative the business is, and it what it means to the country. They'll stop at nothing to make sure these companies can do what they need to do.
Now, you have a chance to be on the show yourself.
Legacy Casting, the company responsible for doing the casting of the show is currently looking for extras for season two of the new hit, and they want you to be a part of it.
There are five different locations they'll be doing shooting at in North Texas. The locations are Fort Worth, Benbrook, Weatherford, Cresson, and Irving. If you live in any of those places, or have the ability to spend some time there, you could be a part of the show.
In order to be considered for a role, you need to go to MyCastingFile and setup a profile there. Without it, you can't be a part of it. There are currently five different roles you can shoot for, and there are roles for both males and females.
Most of the roles pay $200-250 per day for up to 12 hours of work, so you'll spend a lot of time on set, but the chance to get your acting career started working alongside accomplished actors and actresses like Billy Bob Thornton and Demi Moore is an opportunity you don't want to miss out on.
In case you haven't seen the show, here's a nice reel of clips to give you an idea of what you're missing out on. This is a NSFW reel as there's plenty of language in it.
