Lil Wayne Hospalized After Suffering Another Seizure

Hip-hop recording artist Lil Wayne has suffered another epileptic seizure and being hospitalized in Los Angeles.

Wayne, who recently revealed that he has epilepsy, spent almost a week at Cedars-Sinai in March after suffering several seizures.

The performer was taken by his bodyguards to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Tuesday night and was released early this morning.

Lil Wayne had this to say to LA radiostation Power 106:

"I'm an epileptic, so I'm prone to seizures," he told L.A. radio station Power 106 afterward. "I've had a bunch of seizures. Y'all just never hear about it. This time it got real bad because I got three of 'em in a row, and on the third one, my heart rate went down to, like, 30%. Basically, I could have died soon. That's why it was so serious. The reason being for the seizures is just plain stress, no rest and overworking myself."

"This isn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth or seventh seizure. I've had a bunch of seizures," he said. "Y'all just never hear about them. But this time, it got real bad because I had three of them in a row."
