It's cool to see one of my Nightmare On 19th Street kids making a little bit of a splash in Hollywood.

Tristen Russell took off to L.A. to pursue some musical dreams, and ended up in the new music video from Machine Gun Kelly, featuring Blink-182's Travis Barker & YUNGBLUD.

Tristen commands a decent amount of screen time in the video for "I Think I'm OKAY," which is full of young punk rocker types. That's Tristan at 37 seconds in, while Machine Gun Kelly sings, "I can taste it on my tongue."

Tristen submitted a picture to a photo audition on Instagram and was cast to be in the video. I don't know if it was spelled out for him this way, but it's probably because he could pass for a young Machine Gun Kelly.

"It was epic to watch MGK and Travis do work," Tristan said. The song is obviously going to be BIG; it had nearly a half a million views in less than four hours since its debut. Check it out:
