Zack "Danger" Brown of Columbus, Ohio posted on the Kickstarter site that he wanted make potato salad. Brown loves potato salad but has never made it and that's why he turned to Kickstarter. Zack's potato salad idea has went viral and now is pledged at $32,000.

Brown was just trying to get $35 initially. “Stretch Goals: $35 – I will make 4x as much Potato Salad. I know $40 isn’t 4x $10, but you guys have earned it,” he says. For $75, there will be a “pizza party!” And for $100, “I will try two different Potato Salad recipes.” People love his idea so much that his Kickstarter fund has been shared more than 175,000 times on Facebook now.

Brown promised to make the potato salad on livestream for everyone to watch. Brown also said  "My kitchen is too small! I will rent out a party hall and invite the whole internet to the potato salad party (only $10 and above will be allowed in the kitchen)! If your interested in on the Potato salad party and donate $50 or more you will get a Potato Salads Of The World recipe book, complete with a dedication page with your name on it. If you become a backer you will  get a ‘bite’ of the salad, and Zack will also say your name out loud while making it.

If Brown can make it this easy to make money off of potato salad, I think I'm going add my yummy Chile Rellenos on Kickstarter and see if I can strike it big.
