Occupants In Wednesday’s Fatality Accident In Amarillo Have Been Identified

More local news coming in, as Amarillo Police identify the victims of a fatal car accident that took place on Wednesday, 11/21/12, at 1500 S. Canyon E-Way.  Including 2 adults, and 1 child only 17 months old.

Amarillo Police report:

UPDATE :
The driver of the Tahoe has been identified as Charlie Rivas III W/M 25 of Amarillo. The driver of the Mazda is identified as Annabel Gutierrez W/F 27 also of Amarillo. The 17-month old child is identified as Ian Xavier Rodriguez W/M of Amarillo. At this time neither speed nor alcohol is believed to be a factor in the accident. The Mazda may have suffered a mechanical breakdown and was possible sitting or slowed considerably in the inside lane of Canyon Drive.

The accident is still under investigation and the Traffic Investigation Unit is asking if anyone has information to contact them at 378-3038.
