It's one of the most popular cuisines not just in Amarillo, but the entire country. The one thing most people turn to when they don't feel like cooking and don't want to go out either.

I'm not talking about DoorDash or anything like that. It's pizza. We LOVE to order pizza when we need that quick and easy meal.

However, sometimes it's just one of us who needs a few slices and not multiple people. Seems silly to order up an entire pizza in that situation, doesn't it? Maybe it's just a moment of craving and we want to satisfy that.

You used to be able to go to Westgate Mall and grab a slice or two from Sbarro, but they haven't been there in a long time, so finding a good slice or two has gotten tough.

So where can you go in Amarillo and juts grab either a slice or like a mini personal pizza? Sadly, there aren't a lot of places that serve up just slices, but there are a few.

LA BELLA'S

Here's one place, and possibly the best place to grab just a slice or two. We have a lot of locally owned pizza places in the city, but not a lot of them offer up just slices. La Bella is one of only a couple that do it.

They offer up slices all day and night, so it's not just a one time of the day sort of thing. Whether it's lunch or dinner, you can grab a slice or two and not a whole pie.

GIOVANNI'S

Last we heard, they do offer up a lunch special where you can get a slice or two and drink so you aren't trying to stuff a whole pizza down at lunch. I mean, who eats a whole pizza at lunch? No one.

Furthermore, where would you put the leftover pizza once you're done? Right, you don't have a fridge in your office most likely so it's just going to go bad. Check them out for lunch.

PIZZA PLANET

You can roll up to the drive-thru location on Bell and order a couple of slices any time of day. However, there are benefits to ordering up a full pie if you're hitting up Pizza Planet.

Rumor has it they will load up on the toppings if you get a full pizza, so it's a tough decision. A full, loaded pizza or just a slice or two? Depends on what you're craving and how badly you want it.

SAM'S CLUB/MARKET STREET

Here's a couple of "grocery store" options that are out there. Obviously, you need a membership to walk into Sam's Club, but I've also heard that if you're just grabbing a bite, they'll let you come in to do that. I also hear the slice there are monstrous.

Market Street is another option. They've always got pizza's made up in the deli area, and they're very reasonably priced. Good size slices where you could probably just grab one and be good to go.

PAK-A-SAK

Yes, most convenience stores in Amarillo serve up pizza as a grab and go type of option. However, no one does it better than Pak-A-Sak. They serve up those Hunt Brothers personal pizzas, and they are always on point.

Convenience store pizza has a tendency to taste a bit generic and bland, but with the Hunt Bros pizza, you get solid tasting pizza that doesn't taste and feel like it's been under a hot lamp all day. You can even get full size pizzas there.
