On Friday September 9th officers from the Randall County Sheriff's Office will be volunteering their time at Dunkin' Donuts to raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics Texas athletes in the Amarillo and surrounding areas.

The money donated goes to a great cause to provide programming and training for more than 500 children and adults with intellectual disabilities in the local community and 55,000 people in the state of Texas. Special Olympics are involved with a lot of sports and activities and enable them to provide and host these events. They have fundraisers and charities to not only just raise money but to also raise awareness. Stop by on Friday September 9th at Dunkin' Donuts off 2823 S. Western to help support this wonderful organization and make a donation. Police officers from the Randall County Sheriff's Office will be there from 6am to 4pm.
