The effect of Hurricane Isaac is being seen all over Youtube and some of the footage is shocking!  In the video above, a man drove to Bay Saint Louis from Hattiesburg and arrived around 7.  There was a downed power line that caused a bit of a traffic delay.  As he moves further down South Beach Blvd it became more intense, and he nearly submerges his car in the extremely flooded streets!  The water continued to rise and from yards to streets to sidewalks, you can see the true effect of the storm.

More damage of the hurricane is shown in the video above, as a man takes you on a tour of his house.  The walls are soaked and the structural integrity is so compromised, the roof of his house caved in!

In this video, Tom Ackerman reports on Hurricane Isaac from New Orleans.

Youtube:

Hurricane Isaac has hit the US Gulf Coast, and forecasters are warning that tornadoes could appear over the states of Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana.

The storm has already brought winds of up to 130 kilometres per hour.
In New Orleans, the city's flood system will get its first real test after Hurricane Katrina devastated the area exactly seven years ago.

That's where Al Jazeera's Tom Ackerman is reporting.

Hurricane Isaac is definitely taking a toll on the Gulf Coast!  Keep everyone in your thoughts and prayers!
