Sparking Wires On Amarillo Utility Pole Causes Traffic Delays
It's electric! Literally! Sparking wires on a utility pole on 10th between Arthur & Johnson has emergency personnel blocking off traffic on 10th in Amarillo.
"Emergency personnel has blocked traffic on 10th Avenue between Johnson and Arthur streets because of sparking wires on a utility pole.
Witnesses say that wires appear burned and are sparking as dangling wires hit the pole.
Amarillo fire crews are blocking the area and Xcel has arrived on scene."
They also report that nearby structures are showing some signs of damage, so it's a dang good thing somebody noticed this and reported it!
