Steven Seagal Is Now Border Patrol Man Right Here In Texas!

Steven Seagal is now a gun toting border patrol who's aching to bust some illegal aliens!  So now Mexican's looking to cross the border in Texas have to deal with Mr. True Justice himself! 

Seagal was sworn in as a sheriff's deputy in Hudspeth County, Texas this weekend and will be working full time to protect the border of Texas & Mexico.

It's not a far stretch from his most recent run as Steven Seagal, Lawman.  But this time, word is it's not a reality show. (TMZ)

Shockingly, the rep insists Seagal's work with the department has nothing to do with his A&E reality show, "Steven Seagal: Lawman."

One of the sheriffs told Chron.com, "It became very clear to me that Mr. Seagal is not in this for the celebrity or the publicity ... He's like the rest of us that live down here, he has a sincere passion for his country and he wants to do more to help."

When Seagal was asked for a comment on the matter, he simply replied "I'd like to see Jean-Claude Van Damme do this!"

On a side note I hope he doesn't have to chase anyone down while on the job!  He's gained so much weight I can hear his feet begging for mercy!
