One less worry this school year for the parents in Canyon Independent School District. The news is something that will make any parent rejoice. This was something offered last school year and it was a blessing for the families.

In a similar move Amarillo Independent School District is doing the same thing. They kicked off the program at Amarillo Schools yesterday. I just love it. I sure wish this was something that was offered when my daughter was in school. It would have been a huge blessing.

So the good news came out recently that I think everyone in Canyon can agree is great. Free food. Yes, students in Canyon Independent School District can now eat for free. I am talking about breakfast and lunch.
