I love the fact that the Tri State Fair is back in town. I hate the fact that I have to miss it this year. I am not complaining because I got a precious new granddaughter out of the deal. Working from Dallas this week means I will not be home in time before the fair leaves.

September is right around the corner. That means the Tri-State Fair and Rodeo is right around the corner.

So how bummed were you when you heard the announcement that the Amarillo Tri-State Far was being cancelled? Oh I saw everyone upset about the lack of fair food this year. I mean we count on the artery clogging goodness.

They are still planning on having the livestock show, though, and they've scheduled the Tri-State Fair and rodeo for September of next year.

There will be rides this year; just not of the carnival variety.

I am pretty sure we all saw this coming. The year 2020 has not been kind to any events we look forward to having. With the word last week that the State Fair in Dallas was being cancelled that only lead us to wonder about our beloved Tri State Fair here in Amarillo.

If you went to the Chamber BBQ a couple weeks ago or have been to the Fair last....anywhere that has you struggling to hold all kinds of food and drinks I found something really cool.
