The Venue Shut Its Doors? This Party Barn is Officially Closed
A popular event center has closed its doors, but when did this happen? I know curious minds want to know.

The place I'm talking about is The Venue, it is/was located at 7200 Canyon Drive, it was located next to Pete's Greenhouse.
The Venue used to be known as The Party Barn, it used to be a big 'ol red barn, but after it was purchased, it was repainted and remodeled to be a beautiful place to host a wedding, reception, birthdays, anniversaries, but now it's gone.
All their social media is gone, their website is gone. Poof! They disappeared.
In speaking with a person that is involved in weddings, I was told that they closed at the end of last year. I'm sure with COVID it hurt their business immensely since so many celebrations and weddings had to be cancelled in 2020.
However, as sad as it is, it will be something new and something wonderful. Boots!
The former Party Barn and The Venue will now be the new home to Becks Boots.
According to Jeremy Pool with Beck Boots:
We did purchase the building. We are going to use it for a boot shop. We will not be having any events.
Beck Boots makes handmade and custom cowboy boots. Their current store is located at 723 S. Georgia.
According to their website:
Beck Boots' custom handmade Cowboy Boots are made to work in and last for years of rugged wear. In addition to our custom handmade boots, we also have over 90 sizes of boots in stock. Our In-Stock and Working Cowboy Special boots are handmade, exactly like our custom boots. Nobody makes a tougher, longer lasting or better fitting boot. Our handmade boots are made with heavy weight American tanned leather.
I am ashamed I didn't know about this Amarillo boot business. I am glad I know about it now. Hmmm, maybe I need to get some new boots.
It's sad that one business closed their doors, however it is exciting that a Amarillo business is expanding and growing.
