With Easter Sunday coming up this weekend, the hunt is on for the Easter egg hunts.  Maybe you've got one planned with your family already, but if you don't, there's something that you and the kids can hop on over to and have some fun.

The Amarillo Zoo started Easter Egg-citment a few years ago and it's by far my favorite egg hunt in the city.  Lions, tigers, bears and bunnies makes it quite different from your average Easter egg hunt.  Your kiddos get access to the zoo, they'll get to hunt for eggs and have fun checking out the animals offered at the Amarillo Zoo.

This year, the hunt will include an Alice In Wonderland theme, eggs filled with candy and goodies from characters of the movie like Alice, the Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts, the March Hare, Bugs Bunny and others.

The Easter Bunny will be on the scene to take pictures with the kids, and they've got an Alice in Wonderland Tea Party planned for the kids!

Egg huts will take place by age groups with infant through 3-years-old happening 10:00am to 1:00pm.  Ages 4 and 5 happen 10:30am to 1:30pm and ages 6-8 from 11:00am till 2:00pm.

They encourage that your children bring their own egg baskets to collect the eggs with so don't forget that!  For more details about the Amarillo Zoo's Easter Egg-citment click right here!

If you were curious about the Discovery Center's Eggstravaganza, they had that last weekend, yeah I thought that was kind of weird too.
