Where To Catch 4th of July Fireworks In Amarillo This Year

Forth of July weekend is coming up and I don't know about you but I am ready to get out and watch a good fireworks show. With everything getting shut down last year I need it and I've got a feeling most of you might too. I'm not talkin' set off a few in the backyard. I'm talkin big budget, light up the sky shows and this year there's no shortage across Amarillo.

John Stiff Park

Now I know there have been shows here in the past but I can't seem to find confirmation on this either way. But do keep this in mind, get out there early and expect some delays. I'll keep an eye on this one for you and update.

Sod Poodles

Here's where you can get a few days of fireworks! The weekend starts with a Fireworks Friday Celebration followed by shows on Saturday and Sunday. What more do you need for a good 4th of July weekend besides Baseball, Hot Dogs and Fireworks, I don't think that it gets any better than this! The Sod Poodles will be taking on the Wichita Wind Surge, fireworks will immediately follow the game. Don't forget you can win tickets with us

Starlight Canyon

Texas Country Legend Robert Earl Keen is headlining out at Starlight Ranch, Saturday July 3rd with opening artist Kaitlin Butts. The gates open up at 7pm, concert at 8pm. If you haven't been to a REK show, he puts on a great performance not to be missed. The show is all ages but under 18 will need an adult as alcohol is being served. expect a large showing from the Amarillo food truck community Fireworks will launch from the Zipline platform after the concerts are finished up.

Canyon's 4th of July Celebration

The City of Canyon is making theirs an all day event starting with breakfast, a parade and at the end of the day a fireworks show at Connor Park after a performance from Noah Jenda find out more here.

Hereford

If you're heading down US 60 watch out for some road closures in Hereford, The annual parade takes place on Sunday July 4th starting at 6pm leading up to fireworks at Hereford High School at dusk. Catch the full rundown here
