Whoa! The Weird & Wacky Crimes of 2022 in the Texas Panhandle

Every town, village, and big city have their own problems with crime. That's just a given.

But if you've lived in the Texas Panhandle for long enough, you'll see that there's some shenanigans that are wacky enough to make you go "Huh...that's not normal."

Think about it. Just last year, in 2021, we had:

Jason Collier, the small-town police chief who took the entire world by storm with his superb time-management skills and exquisite choice in coffee-makers (and women.....so many angry women)

The young couple who channelled their inner Bonnie & Clyde to steal a kangaroo from a beloved local real estate mogul who enjoyed raising exotic animals in his spare time. The duo were arrested and charged but the kangaroo has yet to be found.

A relentless and public search for a pair of slippery and elusive thieves. Their preferred item to pilfer? Beef jerky. If I'm lyin', I'm dyin'.

I could go on and on, but the fact of the matter is: It's halfway through 2022 and there's a brand new batch of straight up weird crimes committed by wacky criminals for us to enjoy.
