There are hundreds of Beastie Boys tributes on the Internet, including our favorite ‘Sabotage‘ clip by some adorable kids. But a cool video recently surfaced of a rare unaired performance from the trio.

Oh No They Didn’t posted a video of the Beastie Boys performing ‘The New Style’ on ‘Chappelle’s Show.’ Originally, the show’s co-creator Neal Brennan posted it on his YouTube but was taken down by Viacom due to copyright issues. According to Brennan, the performance was slated for the third season of ‘Chappelle’s Show’ but never aired after Dave Chappelle abruptly quit the show.

In the grainy video, the Beasties are performing ‘The New Style’ outside in the dead of winter. WTF? Dressed in heavy coats, the trio performed their sample-heavy track next to the Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty. Although it was cold outside, the Beasties were heating the mics up with their back-and-forth wordplays. Props to Mixmaster Mike for his superior turntable skills and switching up the beat near the end of the song.

Overall, the Beastie Boys showed how much they love hip-hop and the city of New Yawk. It’s a wonderful tribute to their late member Adam ‘MCA’ Yauch.

Pink graces the June 2012 cover of Cosmo, looking slim and trim in a red bandage dress. Less than a year after giving birth to daughter Willow Sage, new mom Pink has dropped the baby weight and looks banging. She was candid about how her life has changed since welcoming Willow into the world.

“I’m used to going into the studio and smoking and drinking until three in the morning,” the singer confessed to the mag. “But I can’t drink as much because I’m breastfeeding. See this glass of wine? Before, I’d have, like, four of them. Now, one is good. Oh, and I quit smoking… I’ve exorcised a lot of my demons, but I’m still working on myself. I think I’ll be a work in progress for the rest of my life.”

The singer also shared that Willow sleeps in bed with her mom and dad, so she and hubby Carey Hart have to “schedule” alone time! “We’ve never had a problem with affection. But with a baby? It’s kinda gross, but you have to schedule it,” she said.

The parents are thinking of rearranging Willow’s sleeping accomodations at some point. “We’re just starting to think about putting her somewhere else, at least for a little while,” the songstress said. “Either that, or we’ll have to resort to getting it on in the laundry room.”

Speaking of sexy, the singer was not shy about saying she did not feel beautiful with a bulging belly. She gained 55 pounds during the gestation period, joking “my baby may be part cheesecake.” She didn’t feel pretty, at all. “I thought I’d feel like a goddess. They sell you on that… like you’ll never feel more feminine. Really, I just felt like a mess,” Pink said.

Feeling like a mess at the time or not, she looks uh-mazing right now.

A new poster from the Katy Perry biopic ‘Katy Perry: Part of Me’ has been revealed. The simple images shares a lot about the films rags-to-riches, dream-to-reality story.

A teenage (dream) Perry is in her girlish bedroom, singing into a hairbrush in front of the mirror like most youngins with rock star aspirations often do behind closed doors. She’s wearing a typical teen uniform of a cute mini-skirt and and thigh-high socks, with a record player at her feet. As for the image reflected in the mirror? It’s the blue-haired, strawberry dress-wearing diva, performing before her adoring crowd.

It’s Katy, then and now.

‘Katy Perry: Part of Me’ is a 3D spectacle, reportedly sans all footage of estranged (and soon to be ex) hubby Russell Brand. It hits theaters on July 5 when most of you will be BBQing and swilling beer or lemonade (if you are under 21) in celebration of the country’s independence.

Still, you can inject a little candy-coated color and sugary sweetness into your life by seeing the movie. It’s an intimate look at Katy Hudson becoming Katy Perry, the pop starlet you love to love.

The New York State Senate passed a resolution this week to honor the work of the Beastie Boys‘ Adam ‘MCA’ Yauch, who died earlier this month from cancer of the parotid gland. Spin reports that State Senator Daniel Squadron wrote resolution J4637-2011 to remember the late rapper. The resolution was accepted by the legislative body on Tuesday, May 15,  just days before “MCA Day” takes over Union Square Park.

The resolution read in part:

“The music and message of the Beastie Boys evolved over the years, but they can’t, they don’t, they won’t stop changing the face of hip-hop, of music, and of our culture… The Beastie Boys exemplified New York through a period in which grassroots creativity and a community of iconoclastic artists helped redefine and rejuvenate a city on the ropes, with iconic imagery from Brooklyn to Ludlow Street… now, therefore, be it resolved, that this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to mourn the death of famed rapper and activist Adam “MCA” Yauch.”

Yauch grew up in Brooklyn Heights and helped the Beasties become the first hip-hop act ever to score a No. 1 album. The resolution highlights Yauch’s fight against human rights abuses in Tibet and mentions Yauch’s wife, Dechen Wengdu, and their daughter, Losel.

The honor comes in advance of an effort to remember Yauch with MCA Day, a fan-created event in New York City’s Union Square set to take place on Saturday, May 19, at 11AM EST. Admirers of the rapper are encouraged to bring photos and share stories about his influence.

Rapper 50 Cent is on the mend after he was hospitalized with a stomach virus. Fiddy checked into a hospital on Wednesday (May 16) for treatment but seemed to be in good spirits. After he admitted himself, the ‘Wait Until Tonight’ rapper tweeted a photo of himself flanked by stuffed animals in a hospital bed.

The picture featured 50 with a cute stuffed giraffe to his right, a large stuffed lion on his left and a stuffed elephant in between his legs. The photo was accompanied by a tweet, “Do not do a @djdrama gangsta grillz this is all I get. Ain’t this a b—-. I give 15 tracks you give me this.”

DJ Drama would later confirmed to XXLMag that ‘Fif had to undergo surgery for a “stomach virus” and he would be fine. “First they wanted to keep it quiet, but he’s not a quiet guy,” he said. “He should be cool. It’s nothing that serious.”

50 Cent and Drama are currently promoting their collaborative mixtape ‘The Lost Tape Gangsta Grillz,’ which is due out on May 22.

On Thursday (May 17), 50 posted another photo looking like his old self sans the stuffed animals. “I’m feeling better today I think I’m gonna get out of the hospital soon. EMINEM called me last night I love him that’s my boy,” he wrote to his followers.

We are glad that 50 Cent is feeling better and ready to get back on his daily grind of feeding the fans that pure and uncut street-hop music.

There aren’t a lot of red-haired players in the NBA. That’s one of the reasons Patrick Gonzalez, who has red hair, is a fan of Matt Bonner, a ginger-headed back-up center for his hometown San Antonio Spurs.

So to pay homage to the sharp-shooting bigman, Gonzalez had a rather accurate image of his favorite player shaved into the back of his head.

Since hair is apparently a touchy subject at Woodlake Hills Middle School, his mom Rose Gonzalez actually went to the school to clear the Bonner-cut with the administration before Patrick showed up for class.

But despite this meeting, Patrick was told that he would have to get rid of his unique hair style or face suspension. According to school official Aubrey Chancellor, Rose Gonzalez may have met with the front office about her son’s hair, but permission was never actually granted.

So now it looks like Patrick will have to get rid of his tribute, which has been deemed a “distraction.” He says that he is “mad,” but will comply with the decision.

If anything good were to come out of this misunderstanding, it would be that it might draw more attention to Bonner, who last year posted a couple pretty clever parodies of basketball instructional videos on YouTube. Check them out below.

Sounds like Rihanna has a new “rude boy” in her life. Rumors are spreading like wildfire that the ‘Where Have You Been’ singer has been getting hot and heavy with New York Knicks player JR Smith.

The Boombox reports that RiRi has been engaging in quite a bit of PDA with the Knicks’ bad boy. A spy told InTouch that the pair hung out at New York City’s Veranda nightclub and dished, “They were very flirty in the club all night and holding hands. She was sitting on his lap and was really into him.” Ow ow!

Smith is one of the most controversial players on the New York team and is frequently in trouble — which seems to be just Rihanna’s type, however unfortunate that may be. Smith, who has two kids, plead guilty to a reckless driving charge in 2009 (the same year Rihanna was dealt blows from her bad boy ex, Chris Brown), earning himself a month in jail, 500 days of community service and a seven-game suspension from the NBA. Further adding to his dangerous appeal? Smith was fined $25,000 for tweeting a photo of a thong-clad model in his bed — and later shut down his old Twitter account after rumors spread that he wrote in the same style as the Los Angeles-based Bloods gang. Sounds like a winner to us!

We bet mentor and Brooklyn Nets co-owner Jay-Z won’t be too pleased about RiRi’s new romance — though he’s probably just relieved that she’s not with Breezy!

Russell Brand appeared on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ today (May 17) in a pre-taped segment where he revealed that he still loves his soon-to-be-ex-wife Katy Perry, with whom he split in December of last year. He offered several positive sentiments about the ‘Part of Me’ singer and then hung out with Ellen’s favorite mini correspondents, Sophia Grace and Rosie.

Brand did not skirt the Perry issue, saying, “I love her as a human being, but sometimes when you’re in a relationship I suppose it doesn’t work out, does it? But that doesn’t mean I regret it or anything … I was very happy to be married to her, she’s such a beautiful human being, and I only have love and positivity for her.”

Aw, that’s so heartbreaking. It truly is an amicable split for these two, even though they’ve unfollowed one another on Twitter. “You can’t make everything how you want it to be in life,” Brand also said. How eloquent and true.

The mood lifted when he was flanked by his fellow Brits, those precocious, tiara-wearing, pink-clad princesses Sophia Grace and Rosie. We hope they are homeschooled, because they sure seem to be spending a lot of time outside of the classroom. Yeah, we know, they’re picking up an education at the school of life and are rubbing elbows with celebs, but still! We’re sure they’ve got responsible parents.

Brand called them “my little Essex friends,” commenting that “we’ve all escaped. Back in Essex, these children would be forced to clean chimneys.” He also said that he and Rosie would have to team up to keep SG in line, since she’s a little firecracker.

The comedian then asked SG to express everything she ever thought, to which she shouts “PINK!” Either she works for Victoria’s Secret’s diffusion line, has been brainwashed by Nicki Minaj or has had a wee bit of training about how to suck people into her vortex of cuteness.

Can we just say we love how Rosie is the quiet one? She’s like Teller of Penn & Teller.

It’s another major magazine profile that bridges the gap from boy to man for the singer. While most Beliebers don’t care about the financials that are detailed in this story, it reveals that the Biebs is a very savvy (and wealthy) businessman.

Here’s the quick math. Since debuting three years ago, the ‘Boyfriend’ singer has sold 15 million albums and grossed $150 million over 157 tour dates in two dozen countries. His film ‘Never Say Never’ nabbed $30 million in opening weekend box office receipts. His ‘Someday’ fragrance raked in $60 million during its first six months. Add that up, and he’s earned about $108 million in the past two years.

In the social media sphere, he shakes out like this: 21 million Twitter followers, 43 million Facebook fans and 740 million ‘Baby’ YouTube video views, the most ever for one clip. Interestingly, a Twitter employee said that in 2010, three percent of the company’s infrastructure was dedicated to dealing with tweets related to the singer!

All that activity translates to plenty of money for him and his business managers to play with in the investment world. The Biebs is a venture capitalist who drops money into upstarts and products he likes. His manager Scooter Braun also stated firmly that he won’t let his client get involved in something unless he is into it. Smart strategy.

Bieber has been dumping millions into private tech start up companies and holds stakes in a dozen or so companies. The sleuths at FORBES verified four: messaging platform Tinychat, social curation app Stamped, gaming outfit Sojo Studios and Spotify.

The Biebs isn’t paid to endorse these products. He invests his own capital into them and most haven’t even promoted his involvement. So it’s not like he tweets about the products and uses his image to sell them a la Kim Kardashian – he directly funds them.

For his part, Bieber understands the financial and long-term value of being connected in the digital age, even if privacy and mystique are casualties.  ”It used to be there was a mystery to the artist,” says Bieber. “Now there’s, like, no mystery — the fans want the connection, they want to see you Instagramming at a coffee shop in the morning.”

Kelly Clarkson showed off her new, trimmer figure at the ABC and Entertainment Weekly Upfront party in New York City this week. Wearing a spring-appropriate, strapless floral frock that accentuated her toned arms and smaller waist, Clarkson, 30, looked amazing.

The ‘Stronger’ singer also chose a flattering cut to show off her shape with this pretty dress. She has not admitted to any sort of diet or exercise regimen, but it’s clear that she has shed some excess pounds and it’s most visible in her arms and hips. Looking god, Kel!

She’s also growing out her formerly blunt bangs, it seems. It’s a move which flatters her face shape, since it’s a less severe style.

According to AOL Music, the singer and original ‘American Idol‘ was in town to promote her new reality show ‘Duets,’ which teams aspiring singers with established stars. The new show premieres on May 24. Clarkson loves her reality competitions, as she also mentored on the second season of ‘The Voice.’ She has spread her wings beyond the show that made her famous, and she has often maintained that she just wants to sing, as opposed to being a pop star.

The new season of ‘America’s Got Talent‘ is merely two days old and it’s already making a splash, from the critical raves Howard Stern earned as a judge to some of the actual talent America is showcasing on the boob tube. One of last night’s (May 15) standouts was Tim Hockenberry, a middle-aged gent from upstate New York who delivered a gritty and emotionally impactful rendition of Joe Cocker’s ‘You Are So Beautiful.’ It was, in a word, beautiful.

Granted, the song is inherently gritty and raw, and it was right in Hockenberry’s wheelhouse. He sat behind a keyboard stand and tapped away while singing in his rugged, raspy voice. He’s proof that young, cute and precocious kids are not the only hopefuls to win our hearts and compete on ‘AGT.’

From one performance, it sounds like Tim Hockenberry is the real deal. While we were wondering if he would be a serious or silly performer based on his bright paisley print (and pink!) shirt, he surprised us and had us in his corner immediately. Go Tim!

Managers like Earl Weaver, Lou Piniella, Ozzie Guillen, and Bobby Cox made names for themselves as fierce opponents of some calls, making for some humorously and memorable moments as they totally lost their cool on the diamond. On other occasions, players have been known to stand up for themselves and challenge umpires for what they perceived as blown calls. The Blue Jays’ Brett Lawrie is just the latest to join the fray. Here’s a look back at some of our favorite player vs. umpire meltdowns:

After thinking he walked, Lawrie was summoned back to home plate by umpire Bill Miller during a game against the Rays on Tuesday night, and he went absolutely bananas. Lawrie threw down his helmet in disgust, which landed at an angle, causing it to immediately bounce back up into Miller. It earned Lawrie a four-game suspension. Miller’s abuse didn’t end there, though. A fan hurled a beer at him as he headed off the field.

GEORGE BRETT

The infamous “pine tar” incident further propelled Brett to stardom in 1983 when the Yankees challenged Brett’s bat he used to hit a home run against them. After the umpires reviewed the bat, they concluded that Brett had violated a league rule and applied too much of the substance to his bat. Brett, perhaps reasonably, charged out of the dugout after he was ruled out. The league eventually decided that Brett shouldn’t have been tossed, and the Royals finally got the win 25 days afterward.

DELMON YOUNG

A couple weeks ago, Young’s temper got the best of him when he went on a drunken anti-Semitic tirade in New York City which earned him some time off. Unfortunately, this wasn’t Young’s first example of bad behavior. Or should we say bat behavior. When Young was a minor leaguer in 2006, he got so inflamed after a called third strike that he tossed his bat toward home plate. It struck the umpire, too, who immediately threw young out of the game. It got him a 50-game suspension.

Rauch got so mad after a call at home during a 2011 game that he lost his shirt. Seriously. Rauch’s six-foot-10 frame left him a candidate for one of the most awkward standoffs with an umpire, and it took several of his teammates to drag him away toward the dugout. With the level of vitriol Rauch was exhibiting that afternoon, the ump and fans might have gotten off easy that Rauch walked away when he did.

RYAN HOWARD

During the 14th inning of a 2010 game, Howard was thrown out after protesting a close check swing call. It caused him to confront third base umpire Scott Barry all the way up the line. Imagine having the six-five, 250-pound slugger coming after you with full force. Phillies players and another umpire were able to restrain Howard long enough to keep him from manhandling Barry, and eventually Howard was led off the field.

ROBERTO ALOMAR

We may never know what it was that umpire John Hirschbeck said to Alomar during a 1996 game that prompted the second baseman to spit at Hirschbeck. It’s one of baseball’s sorrier moments, but also one that Alomar moved on from shortly afterward. Alomar was suspended five games. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2011, showing that even for the league bygones were better left bygones.

Harper was ejected from the Junior College World Series in 2010 after a questionable third strike call. As Harper stepped out of the batters’ box and headed back toward his dugout, he drew a line in the sand that flicked dirt up at the ump. He was promptly tossed from the game, his last before declaring for the majors. It’s forgivable, though. Harper was just 17 at the time of the incident.

CARLOS BELTRAN

Sometimes the officiating can get so bad that a player winds up getting support from his manager. During a 2008 game. Beltran and teammate Carlos Delgado were so outraged by a strike call that manager Jerry Manuel joined in on the rage. Beltran wound up getting tossed, and the Mets needed just about everyone they have available in the dugout to come and control the situation.

I was surfing the Internet and found this absolutely AMAZING cover of LMFAO’s “Sexy & I Know It” by the most unlikely character ever!

You look at this guy, he’s got that kind of nerdy, chunky guy with glasses look.  I really try to not judge people by appearance, but sometimes you just look at someone and get an expectation in your head.  I’ll admit, I was not expecting this cover to be good just based on the guy’s appearance.

Well don’t judge a book by it’s cover as they say.

This dude, Noah, has got a voice that just melts like butter in my ears!

The cover is like a slow, acoustic, blues/jazz kind of mix.  Considering the original song is more of a party vibe, for this guy to take the song and slow it down and put this twist on it is incredibly impressive!

With a voice like this, he shouldn’t be doing Youtube videos, this guy needs to be signed to a label, he truly has “it”!

I actually like this version much more than LMFAO’s.  I would totally play this on my show!

We’ll start with what I consider to be the world’s most unlikely duet from B.O.B. and Taylor Swift called Both Of Us.  Before you even ask, no B.O.B. is not crossing over to Country Music.  But I gotta tell you, the mix of the 2 is pretty freaking amazing!  Taylor has a beautiful voice and it blends so well with B.O.B.  It’s not a fast jam, a little slower, but the over all sound is a great full mix!  This is definitely a song that you need to give a chance, I think you’ll like it!

Your lacking some Latin spice in your life, so add this into your daily play-list and your cured.  Michel Telo featuring Pitbull with a jam called Ai Se Eu Te Pego.  I’ve been told a few different translations for the title, that’s If I Catch You, If I Get You and also When I Get My Hands On You, I’m pretty white, so I don’t know which one is actually correct, but whatever I don’t have to know the proper translation in order to enjoy the song!  The song delivers a fast beat that would be great to dance to!  This one is a little different, but just as I said about the song from B.O.B.  & Taylor, give it a chance and I bet you’ll like it!

Anyways moving on to this actual story, the reality show, hosted by Tyler Florence, travels the country with 7 food trucks.  Each week they compete to have the highest amount of food sales in order to make it to the next round.  The team with the least sales gets the ax from the show.

Well the competitors for the next season will be posting up this weekend at Homer’s Backyard Ball to go head to head in the battle of the bites!

At least 4 teams are confirmed to be setting up their food trucks this Saturday for an elimination round.

So live music, lots and lots of beer and this TV episode shooting will all be taking place at the event.

The line up is a bunch of country music, but hey, when your drunk, all music sounds great!  And truth be told, I’m a closet case country music fan.

This years line-up includes Cody Canada and the Departed, Tejas Brothers, The Dirty River Boys, Casey Berry and the Live Texas Mosquitos, Tommy Gallagher Band, Gary P. Nunn, Cruise Duke, No Dry County, and The Texas Heat.

Cost is $25 in advance, $30 at the gate.

The event is BYOB and BYOC (chair).  Coolers are allowed.

Pets and Glass containers are not allowed!

The event takes place I-40 E and Whitaker Rd and the gates open at 11am.

But remember, there will be a TV show taping, so please don’t make an ass of yourself because you can’t handle your booze.  That’s going to reflect on the entire city!  Don’t be “that guy” or “the drunk girl”.

Usually when a person is graduating from college, she’s thinking about what kind of job she’ll get after school. This woman gets a surprise offer during graduation and suddenly has a different job to think about — the new and unexpected job of planning her wedding.

Graduation is definitely time for thinking about the future. Clearly, no one knows this better than the boyfriend of Sarah Cooper, a very recent graduate of American University’s School of Public Affairs. Sam Miller decided that Cooper’s walk across the stage as she gets her diploma was the perfect time to pop the question.

It didn’t take long for everyone in the auditorium to understand exactly what was going on, despite the fact that they probably couldn’t hear it.

Cooper and Miller now have way more to celebrate than her accomplishments at university. They also have way more to prepare for than a post-college job hunt. Double congrats, Sarah!

The closer and closer we get to ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ premiere, the more we want to see Andrew Garfield take his Spidey suit off. You know he’s completely naked underneath there, right?

More and more clips and photos keep churning out from Columbia Pictures, who can’t help but tease us to death with that one iconic shirtless image of Garfield going in for a make-out session with Emma Stone. But our favorite sneak peek we’ve gotten from the movie so far is the latest (count ‘em) four-minute trailer. Check it out.

While there aren’t any new shirtless moments for him yet, we’re hopeful that it’ll be worth the wait. But for now, we just have to imagine what’s waiting for us underneath all that spandex.

There’s no beefing between U.K. boy bands the Wanted and One Direction. While the press tries to create some drama between the groups because they are cute, talented and from the same region, the Wanted were quick to shut that down, admitting they support one another. The Wanted, who are a bit older, even invited 1D for a drink … when they can drink legally, that is. We love responsible boy bands.

Speaking to OK! at an album event at Bowlmor Lanes Times Square in NYC, the Wanted’s Siva Kaneswaran said, “Love those guys! Really nice guys. And press are making massive speculation. It’s gone crazy, like, we’re not rivals!”

He revealed that the met in the studio a few weeks back by coincidence and while 1D were unsure about the Wanted for a hot second, they made sure to make ‘em comfortable. “We went up to them and we’re like, ‘Congratulations, we’re proud that your music is doing really well’ and ‘Yeah, we’ll have to go out for a drink sometime,” Kaneswaran said, before adding, “When they can legally drink.”

Bottoms up, boys! But only when you are of age.

Turns out the Wanted will admit when they have a legit beef, like their ongoing feud with Christina Aguilera.

When you hear the phrase ‘all you can eat’, what comes to mind? Probably a place where you can go and eat as much as you want. Right? Not so in this case.

Bill Wisth is protesting a restaurant in Wisconsin called Chuck’s Place because he says that he was turned away from the restaurant after ordering the all-you-can-eat.

“It’s false advertising,” Wisth told TMJ4. “We asked for more fish, and they refused to give us more fish.”

He was then given 8 pieces of fish to-go, but that wasn’t quite enough to calm the the patron. Bill has been picketing the restaurant for the last two days. Click here to read more on this

Now, to bring this home. Have you ever been told by an all-you-can-eat place that they could not serve you anymore? This has nothing to do with a person’s size, just appetite.

I bring this up because a few years ago, Red Lobster was having all-you-can-eat snow crab legs. And I just happened to love crab legs. My friend and I went in and ate more crab that any human probably should, to the point that the manager came over and asked us to “Finish Up”.

We laughed our way out the door and headed to the house. Shortly after they stopped the all-you-can-eat crab legs promotion and I have not seen it since. I’m not saying it was because of us, but we didn’t help the cause.

We can’t wait! Miley Cyrus is hitting the road to go begin recording her new record in Miami. While she’s a bit bummed about leaving her hunky boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, and her adorable pups behind, we’re stoked that she’s getting back to music.

A fan told MileyOnline that they met the starlet outside of her Miami hotel. The fan said Cyrus was super sweet (which is a big jump from what her Costa Rican fans may think). The fan also caught up with Cyrus’ manager, Bruce, who spilled some details on her new record.

Bruce told the fan, “Miley is working with top producers, and she will be huge.” Huger, maybe — the gal is already one of the most famous faces on the planet right now! Bruce also revealed that Cyrus is working on a “more Katy Perry/Rihanna sound, but better,” and that the ‘Can’t Be Tamed’ songstress will be focusing on music and touring. That’s a tall order, but if anyone can deliver, it’s Miley.

Music is probably the best focus for Cyrus right now anyway. Her last film, ‘LOL,’ received a limited release and low box office numbers. Additionally, her absence at the Fox Upfronts implies that she’s likely not taking the rumored ‘X Factor‘ hosting gig after all.
