Hello, dear reader! Please fasten your seatbelts because we're going on one heck of a rocket ride tour of one of my favorite homes that's hit the market so far.

I opened up Zillow to see if there was any new homes listed in Amarillo that would catch my eye....and let me tell you, I found it.

This home is listed with Heather Kirk of Mgroup and it sits on a corner lot near Sam Houston park on Sunset Terrace. It's clean cut, stately, and Colonial on the outside.

Charming, right?

Before we get to the best part, let me rattle off the big-ticket talking points:

There's five bedrooms and six bathrooms in the main house along with a cute little detached back apartment. There's two detached garages to park in and a shop. There's also 60 trees on this property--we live in the flattest of flat lands, trees are a beautiful thing to have in your yard.

And apparently having 60 trees on the property is smart--lots of shade for the salt water pool (yep, I'd never even heard of a house having that either!) and tennis court.

Now that we have the good stuff out of the way, we are ready for the main show.

Now, some people may lift an eyebrow at the interior, but you cannot deny that this is a jubilant, whimsical, and straight up funky home! I would even go so far to say that this house is my spirit animal.

I don't know who's selling this home, but I know for a fact that they are some kind of artsy expert. Here's how I know: Italian. Mosaics.

Italian mosaics are top of the line materials in the art world. This owner knew their art history and they definitely weren't afraid of cultivating their creativity. The appliances and other hardware are completely up to date yet still blend in seamlessly with the interior. This home is delightful!
