AAA Offers Free “Tipsy Tow” For All New Years Eve Party People!
Are you looking forward to drinking until you can't feel feelings anymore this Saturday? Me too! New Years Eve, a time to party and have fun, but it's always so hard to find a designated driver! Nobody want's to be the only one not drinking because truth is, it's really not that fun watching you make an ass of yourself if I can't be right there along side you making a drunken ass of myself! Well fear not my fellow New Years Eve celebrators! AAA offers up an alternative with Tipsy Tow for NYE!
What is Tipsy Tow? It's GENIUS that's what it is! AAA (American Automobile Association) is offering this service free to every intoxicated American on December 31st from 6pm all the way through 6am on January 1st!
What they will do is drive your drunken self and your vehicle home FOR FREE! It's only up to a certain number of miles and it's free to everyone, AAA members and non-members!
So please, write this number down now and stick it in your wallet or purse, tattoo it to your forehead, store it in your cell phone, carve it into a bowling ball and drop it on your foot repeatedly until it stamps into your skin. Call AAA in your state beforehand to find out the details of the service and how many miles are free. I found ranges varying from three to five to 10 miles, depending on which state you live in.
I did the research for us Texans and we have a 10 mile limit. Anything after the 10 mile mark will be your responsibility to pay for!
Some other helpful tips to make it home safely this New Years Eve:
1) Ensure all your friends have a ride home from a designated driver, mom, dad, uncle, cousin, neighbor, anyone will to help you get home safely.
2) Drink plenty of non-alcoholic beverages like water & coffee.
3) Eat lots of high protein foods and breads, you know to soak up the alcohol.
4) If your friend looks incredibly drunk, to the point they should be cut off. Then you need to step up as a friend and make them stop drinking.
5) This is the MOST important! DON'T BE AFRAID TO TAKE YOUR FRIENDS KEYS AWAY FROM THEM! THEY WILL THANK YOU LATER BY STAYING ALIVE!
