Amarillo – Bank Of America Robbed The Day After Christmas

Someone must have got some cat poop in their stocking or something.  Typically, the day after Christmas, we're all out returning the stuff we didn't want and spending the money we got from grandma.  But somebody was naughty and didn't get enough I guess, so they went and took it out on a Bank of America in Amarillo by robbing them!

Amarillo police report that at 10:09am, APD officers were dispatched to a hold up alarm at the Bank of America at 3601 S Washington.

Upon arrival officers learned that a W/M described as being in his 30-40’s, 5”10 wearing a Black Carhart jacket, blue jeans and brown work type boots entered the bank and approached the teller. He handed the teller a note demanding money. Witnesses saw what they described as a handle of a pistol in the front pocket of the suspects jeans.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and left in a light blue vehicle possibly a Buick or Oldsmobile with Oklahoma license plates.
