Yes, the title is correct, an Amarillo man was held against his will and basically tortured by 2 suspects.  The 22 year old victim claimed to have escaped from 2 men that had been holding him against his will, assaulting him and shooting him repeatedly in the head with a BB gun.  Officers, including Amarillo's SWAT team, made arrests on the 2700 block of Wichita Ave.

It all began when the young man showed up on the door step of a house on the 2700 block of Ridgemere, knocking on the door and pleading for help of the home owners.

Police were sent to the house, and the victim informed them of what happened to him.

It all got pretty crazy from there...

On 1-21-14, at 4:42 AM, officers were sent to a home in the 2700 block of Ridgemere on a call of an unknown male knocking on the door. The man that was knocking on the door was a WM age 22. He told officers that had escaped from two suspects that had assaulted him, shot him repeatedly in the head and body with a BB pistol, and held him against his will. He later sought medical treatment for the injuries. The incident started at a home in the 2900 block of Wichita. The victim was then forcibly taken to a home in the 2700 block of Wichita, where the assault continued. When the victim was able to escape from the suspects, he ran to the home on Ridgemere for help. The victim did not know the people at that home but was seeking help. The victim reported that the assault started when the suspects accused him of stealing a watch from one of them. APD Robbery Squad detectives were notified. Detectives secured arrest warrants charging one man with aggravated assault and a second man with aggravated assault and aggravated kidnapping. Investigators had information that the suspects could have access to weapons. They also had information that witnesses and children could be in the home with the men being sought. Due to the increased risk, the APD Special Weapons and Tactics team (SWAT) and APD negotiators joined the investigation. At 1:45 PM, officers approached the home in the 2700 block of Wichita. Officers used a loudspeaker mounted on a vehicle to contact the people inside. Both suspects immediately came out of the house and were arrested without incident. Two females and two children were in the home. Investigators are interviewing the adult females. Officers then searched the home and found evidence connected to the incident. No firearms were found. By about 2:15 PM, officers approached the second home. They contacted a male occupant of that home. He came out and spoke to officers. He was not involved in the incident and was released. The suspects are in custody and their names will be released after they are booked into the Potter County Detention Center."
