There was a pretty nasty accident last night around 11pm at 22nd & S Bolton in Amarillo.  A man driving a Chevy truck with 2 passengers was traveling west on 22nd and ran the stop sign at 22nd & S Bolton.  Another man was traveling north on Bolton when the truck ran the stop sign, causing him to t-bone the truck.  The driver of the Chevy truck fled the scene of the accident and just left his 2 passengers there to deal with it all.  Thank you for being a friend!  <--Sarcasm

I think it's safe to say they won't be riding with him again.

"On 9-12-13, at 11:00 PM, officers were sent to 22nd and S. Bolton Street on a traffic accident. Officers found that a white 1995 Buick Riviera driven by Francisco Flores, HM 41 of Amarillo had been northbound on S. Bolton when a black 2005 Chevrolet pickup that was westbound on SE 22nd Ave ran the stop sign and crossed in front of it. The front of the Buick struck the driver’s side door of the pickup. The impact caused the pickup to roll and strike a utility pole on the northwest corner of the intersection before coming to rest on the vehicle’s passenger side. The driver of the Buick complained of a head injury and was transported to a hospital by ambulance. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening. The driver of the pickup fled the scene. Officers determined who the missing driver was, and started searching for him. Two passengers in the pickup, a WM 21 and WF 18, were at the scene. The female was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The male declined treatment. At about 11:40 PM, officers located the driver of the vehicle on foot in the 4600 block of S. Bonham. They arrested Michael Ray Kennedy WM 40 of Amarillo for failure to stop and render aid at an accident with serious bodily injury and a traffic warrant. He was booked into the Randall County Jail."
