Amarillo Police Make Arrest In Alfredo Ruben Cueto Murder

An arrest has been made by Amarillo police & Special Crimes Unit in the 7/28/13 murder of Alfredo Ruben Cueto.  After officers located the 90's Nissan truck they were searching for, they were able to narrow down their investigation and found that the suspect was Humberto De La Paz Hernandez, age 27 of Amarillo.

"***UPDATE 8-8-2013*** Lt. Erick Bohannon – Special Crimes Unit:
Earlier this week investigators of the Special Crimes Unit located the mid 90’s Nissan truck at a house in north Amarillo. Further investigation revealed the suspect in the homicide was Humberto De La Paz Hernandez, age 27. A murder warrant was issued for Hernandez on 8-7-13 and served while he in the Randall County jail on unrelated charges."

A murderer has been brought to justice thanks to the APD officers and the citizens of Amarillo!  I feel much better knowing this!
