At What Age Should Kids Of The Opposite Sex Stop Going In The Restroom With You?

I will admit that I am super over protective of my son.  There are very few people that I fully trust with him and I always make him go into the women's restroom with me.  But at what age does he become to old to go in with me?

I always try to make my son use the restroom before we go anywhere.  But there are those times when we make a quick stop and he has to go.  I feel like he is still to young to go into the men's restroom by himself, so I take him into the women's.

This month, he will be turning 6 years old and I am beginning to think that he is getting to old to come in with me.  But it terrifies me.  I don't know who is going to be the restroom while he's in there and anything could happen.  I know that it is a part of growing up, but I just think he is still to young.  So for now I will continue to take him in with me.
