Former Childress ISD teacher's aide, Shanice Lambert, got slapped in the face with a 2 1/2 year federal prison sentence due to a child sex charge from back in March of 2012!

Today, she stood in court and begged the judge to give her a chance to go back to her husband and children.  If I was her husband, I'd be like "keep her I don't want her back!"  But I digress.

“I’ll forever live with the guilt and shame of what I’ve done,” a teary eyed Lambert said to US District Judge Mary Lou Robinson just before she sentenced the former Childress teacher’s aide to a 2½-year federal prison sentence.

"Lambert pleaded guilty this year to a federal charge alleging she drove a 15-year-old boy across state lines to have sex in an Altus, Okla., hotel room in February 2012.

“The court considers this as extremely serious,” Robinson said before issuing her sentence."

On top of the federal prison sentence, Lambert, who began working for Childress ISD in 2008, no longer works for the district, must register as a sex offender, must not contact the victim and cannot be unsupervised around children who are under the age of 18.
